Hello! I’m Jeff Van, a Los Angeles native who dabbles in art, writing, and music in the spare time I have.

My creative spurt began in 2020, when, following the presidential election, I picked up a pencil and sketched out some rudimentary stick figure cartoons, hoping to find meaning in all that chaos. Over the course of the next few years, those stick figure drawings developed into more polished illustrations. And as I began to explore the wonderful world of manga and anime, I eventually branched out into increasingly longer form works: comics and short stories.

I’ve launched this website to give all my creative output a place to call home. For now, you’ll find a collection of my assorted artwork and a few short stories I’ve written around Doctor Lavender, a character I created in college. But I’ll continue to grow my portfolio and post new stories and art as time allows, so stay tuned and subscribe today!
